Pile
A while back I was struggling with having too many tabs open, and never going back to them. My solution, in the end, which I do now, is that I use a browser addon called "Pile". If I don't know what to do with a tab right now, I press the "Pile" button. It puts it in a special bookmark folder, and I can go back to it easily, if I ever want, or delete it, if I'm not bothered any more.
